What is a typical gathering like?
We refer to our regular rhythm of gathering as Worship, Word & Table. Prior to our launch this fall, Worship, Word & Table will unfold on a monthly rhythm (current dates include May 31, July 12 and August 9). Beginning with Launch Sunday, September 13, 2026, Worship, Word & Table will become our weekly worship gathering!
Each Worship, Word & Table gathering typically lasts 75-90 minutes, and you can expect us to do those three things: gather for worship, hear from the Word and meet Jesus at his Table. A typical gathering begins with a time of shared worship in song. You'll find a mix of new, modern worship and older, classic songs of faith. Then, we'll step into the Story that God tells in the pages of the Bible to explore how we can live out the ways and words of Jesus, together.
At some point during the gathering, before the teaching or in response to it, we'll come to the Table to receive the broken body and shed blood of Jesus through what various church traditions call The Lord's Supper, Communion or the Eucharist. We practice an open table- meaning the person best equipped to decide if you should partake is you. We adhere to the New Testament's guidance that each person should examine themselves before receiving the Lord's Supper because it is an acknowledgement that Jesus' death was necessary by our sin and brokenness.
Following the teaching, we'll typically conclude with another song or two as well as some information about what's coming up at Table Church and how you can get involved in all that God is doing here!
What should I wear?
There's no real dress code- you'll likely see people in a variety of attire, from casual to more dressed up. We'd invite you to come as you are!
Will I be pointed out as someone new?
Our hope for everyone who comes through the door at Table Church is that you'll receive a warm welcome AND the opportunity to connect at your own pace. We'll never publicly call out guests or draw attention to your presence, though we do hope you'll have the opportunity to meet and connect with other people before and after the service.. You'll likely be greeted by a member of the Welcome team who will be more than happy to answer any questions and help you get settled in. You're free to stop by one of our Connection Stations to get more information, drop off a Connect Card or offering, or find out how to take some next steps.
